A Film Showing & Forum about “The Secret”
“The Secret” – a viewing and discussion of this inspiring new film that has been a life changing experience for many.
“The Secret” is an inspirational documentary about the Secret to Life which is, in a nutshell, about how we attract wanted and unwanted people/events/things into our lives. The premise of the film is that whatever we say “yes” to we attract and whatever we say “no” to we also attract. The film tackles the workings and potentials of the human mind in achieving what every man desires: love, prosperity, health, enlightenment, peace, and harmony. It is a perfect aid in starting an active discussion on topics which are most often limited to a few paragraphs in Psychology textbooks.
Since most people enjoy talking about the films they watch, it’s a good thing to initiate a movie discussion. Besides, the better a film is, the more worthy of discussion it is. The best movies or documentary films contain ideas, stories, and values about life, love, God, humanity, science, and a myriad of other productive issues. Every generation and every culture tells stories that embody their deepest convictions, hopes, and fears, and the stories of the postmodern generation are found in movies. Leading a film discussion is a perfect way to talk naturally about the things that matter most.
